The Vivo X80 Lite 5G is official!


The Vivo X80 family is growing with the arrival of the X80 Lite 5G. As the name suggests, this is the entry-level model in the series.

After recently launching the Vivo V25 5G in India, the Chinese firm is returning to the forefront of the Android smartphone scene with a reference that looks just as promising. Indeed, Vivo has just unveiled the X80 Lite 5G in the Czech Republic. Of course, this new product belongs to the X80 series which already consists of the standard X80 and the X80 Pro. Now let’s get straight to the heart of the matter. To start, know that this 5G compatible Lite model of the Vivo X80 has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The panel is in 20:9 format and displays a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz.

As for the maximum brightness of the display, it is 1300 nits.

A triple back photo module

In addition, the screen of the Vivo X80 Lite 5G incorporates a fingerprint reader. On the processor side, Vivo has opted for the MediaTek Dimension 900. This is associated with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, while the internal storage capacity is 256 GB. Note that the latter is of the UFS 3.1 type. As for the photographic component, the phone sports a triple rear camera module. In particular, it is a question of a 64 MP main cameraan 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro lens.

For its part, the front camera has a resolution of 50 MP. It is equipped with an eye autofocus function. Power is provided by a 4400 mAh battery that supports 44 watt fast charging. Furthermore, the Vivo X80 Lite 5G is powered by Android 12 with FuntouchOS 12 overlay.

Price and availability

For connectivity, the list is quite long. It includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS and USB Type-C protocols. Of course, the Vivo X80 Lite 5G is 5G compatible. The smartphone has two SIM card slots and can accommodate a micro SD card to expand its storage capacity. As for price and availability, the Vivo X80 Lite 5G is already on sale in the Czech Republic for 10,999 Czech crowns, or roughly €445. The device is available in two colors: Sunrise Gold and Diamond Black. It remains to be seen whether the manufacturer intends to market it in Europe.
