This time, Winnie and her friend have gone completely to the dark side. Our adorable friends have literally become bloodthirsty beasts who have decided to bring the horror to life on their former companion, Christopher Robin. The film’s trailer made up of the first sequences of the film gives an incredible taste of their monstrous transformation.

Winnie announces the start of the nightmare with a disturbing trailer

In English Winnie the Pooh, it is a character created in 1926 by Alan Alexander Milne and who is today very famous among young audiences. He owes a large part of his fame to the success met in the USSR by three of his cartoons. It is Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh visits as well as Winnie the Pooh and Worry Day based on the first, second, and fourth chapters of the original book, respectively.

Subsequently, Walt Disney acquired its rights and declined the work into a television series, a feature film or even an animated film. Even in its worst nightmares, the American company would never have thought that the distant cousin of the Chinese president could be the subject of a horror film. But since she no longer owns the rights, others have had their minds twisted enough to turn the nightmare into reality.

In a two-minute trailer, Winnie and Piglet in Leatherface mode are seen first attacking a young couple in a cabin in the woods. They then attack a group of young people who have come to stay in a house in the middle of the bush. We also see appalling scenes like Winnie wringing someone’s neck or cutting off someone’s head.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey coming soon to the big screen

The film depicts Christopher Robin’s dropping out of Pooh and Piglet upon entering college. His visits having ceased, hunger made the two characters totally unbalanced and wild. Back several years later with his fiancée Christopher will face, with a group of students, the murderous madness of these bloodthirsty monsters.

The film is written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. He explained their change by the fact that they were no longer tamed. Having become wild again, they are now in search of prey. On the other hand, he added that despite the violence and the thrill, that there would be funny scenes in the film.

The film stars Nikolai Leon, Craig David Dowsett and Chris Cordell as Christopher, Winnie and Piglet respectively. Alongside them, we find in particular Maria Taylor, Natasha Rose Mills, Amber Doig-Thorne, Paula Coiz and Danielle Ronald. The film will soon be available on DVD and VOD.
