The latest GEEKOM mini PC was launched not very long ago, it is the GEEKOM MiniAir 11. Presented as the everyday mini PC, it combines all the physical and technical characteristics expected of an optimal device of last generation.
With this new release, theOEM GEEKOM hopes to compete with its main competitor MINISFORUM. Would we be in the presence of the future best mini PC 2022?

It may be small, but the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 is very elegant. For the construction of its device, GEEKOM has relied on an interior metal frame which brings a lot of elegance to the device and an external plastic coating. We particularly appreciate the combination of the matte finish and the satin finish of the device.
A side fan provides ventilation for the hardware hidden under the case. With its fairly wide inlets, it should limit clogging of the cooling system as much as possible and thus prevent the proper functioning of the device from being compromised.
Accessories and connectors
Very practical, the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 comes with many accessories, in this case a faux velvet pouch that serves both as storage and protection.
Added to this are a mini-displayPort adapter for HDMI, an HDMI cable, screws and a VESA mounting plate as well as a power supply unit delivered with its extension cord. To facilitate coupling with these various accessories, the mini PC has been equipped at the back and on the side with a multitude of ports, namely:

GEEKOM MiniAir 11: System, Storage and Software
If the constitution of the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 does not visibly suffer from any defect, it is time to take an interest in what this beautiful plastic surgery hides. Does the system and software equipment match the aesthetics of the device?
System
The GEEKOM MiniAir 11 mini PC has been equipped with an Intel® Celeron® N1.11 processor from N509. This model of 5e generation shines with its ability to optimize the performance as well as the graphics processing of the devices it equips. This hardware is particularly distinguished by its computing, transcoding and decoding performance.
In this regard, it is 1.5 times faster than the previous generation, with a speed of up to 2.90 GHz, for a cache of 4 MB. It gives the mini PC several applications such as streaming 4K videos on YouTube, playing 4K UHD videos, streaming video, or running online games.
Model of 5e generation, this Intel® UHD Graphics 605 processor delivers up to 25% better multi-threaded CPU performance than the previous generation model. Added to this are excellent cryptographic capabilities that ensure security and efficiency. Above all, it ensures energy consumption that is almost 20% lower than the previous model.
Storage
In terms of storage, the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 mini PC features dual-channel DDR4 memory. Its 8 GB of RAM, which is expandable to 32 GB, allows the mini PC to start up and load applications quickly.
It is powerful enough to run several applications simultaneously and perform photo editing without latency. The device also incorporates a high-speed M.2 SSD card. If it has more than enough to cover storage needs, with its capacity of 256 GB, know that it is expandable up to 1 TB.
Software
With the GEEKOM MiniAir 11, enjoy the latest generation Windows 11 Pro operating system. Pre-installed on the hardware, it considerably smooths the navigation, executes all its new features faster, thus optimizing your productivity. Some of the new tools include:
- the automatic window alignment option, with new multitasking tools to reposition your applications and windows more intuitively;
- the secure and ultra-fast connection option via Microsoft Edge;
- a multitude of new applications to play and work.
Mini PC MiniAir 11: multimedia
The multimedia equipment of the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 mainly consists of Bluetooth® wireless technology in its 4.0 version. There is also an Intel® Wi-Fi 5.0 wireless LAN connection as well as an Intel® 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet connection.

With its performance, the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 easily adapts to multiple applications, such as home use, daily work or e-learning. Indeed, this machine being designed specifically for multimedia, it supports the playback of videos in 4K resolution very well, especially on YouTube.
When it comes to video editing and image retouching, it has the performance to match, although it may be time-consuming. Even though running video games isn’t the machine’s primary vocation, it’s powerful enough to run most arcade games or older games. It will be necessary to make a cross on the big games.

All the aforementioned tasks the processor manages to perform while lowering its frequency to 1.02 GHz, thus revealing minimal energy consumption. At the height of its use, it does not exceed 9 Watts of consumption, which ranks the GEEKOM MiniAir 11 in the category of the least energy-consuming devices. Thanks to its ultra-efficient cooling system, the temperature of the device does not exceed 67°C.
