The MCU continues to stock up on new superheroes! Fans will soon meet young Riri Williams, aka iron heart. The latter will make her debut in “Black Panther Wakanda Forever”, then continue the adventure in her own TV series, just that!
Fans are also eager to know more about the project: they can’t wait to see how Riri Williams will take over fromIron Man, but especially what will be the connections between the series and Tony Stark. New images have just been unveiled on social networks on this subject.
Holographic technology
The filming ofiron heart kicked off this May and everything seems to be going well for Riri Williams and her solo misadventures. Lately, photos have been shared, revealing actor Anthony Ramos in his villain costume, today, a new photo gives clues to a potential connection between the series and Iron-Man. Shared on Twitter, this is a black and white image showing what appears to be a case marked with the initials ‘BARF TECH’.
A priori nothing folichon would say some and yet yes, it is a very interesting detail when you know that it is an acronym to designate a technology created by Tony Stark himself!
It is indeed the Binary Augmented Retro-Framing (BARF), a holographic technology that we have already seen in Captain America: Civil War, then in Spider-Man far from home. This is indeed the technology used by Mysterio to terrorize cities and pretend to be a hero.
The mystery remains
As we saw in Spider-Man far from home, Binary Augmented Retro-Framing is very dangerous when it ends up in the wrong hands. But what connection with iron heart when you know that the villain of the series is none other than The Hood, a villain whose powers are of mystical origin? In any case, this is what the recent images unveiled on Twitter suggest, but nothing is certain yet. Indeed, the mystery still remains whole concerning the detailed synopsis of Ironheart.
As for the cast, it is composed of Dominique Thorne in the main role, but also Manny Montana, Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich and Shea Couleé. We will have to wait a few more weeks, or even several months, before we know more. Until then, fans will be able to find Riri Williams in Black Panther 2, which is scheduled for theatrical release on November 11.
