Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, this is a name well known to MCU fans. This villain played by Vincent D’Onofrio made his debut in Daredevil in 2015. Thus, we could see him in the series for three years, before it was canceled.
After laying low for a few years, Wilson Fisk resurfaced last December in Hawkeye. He was then the head of the Tracksuit Mafia. In the series, we also learned that he was the uncle of Echo, the character played by Maya Lopez.

A long-awaited comeback
Back in March, it was announced that Disney and Marvel were working on a Daredevil reboot. In this new series, the paths of Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, and Wilson Fisk will cross again.

During Comic-Con 2022, Marvel revealed the title of this reboot. Thus, it was revealed that it will be titled Daredevil: Born Again. This show will be part of Phase 5 of the MCU and will be released in the spring of 2024. And it will mark the highly anticipated return of Matt Murdock and Kingpin.
Vincent D’Onofrio teases the reboot
Vincent D’Onofrio was quick to react to the announcement of this reboot. On July 24, the actor took to Twitter to address the news. Vincent D’Onofrio then followed up with another tweet in which he said: “Yes Mr. Murdock…”, which means “Yes Mr. Murdock. » He accompanied his publication with an image announcing the arrival of the series on Disney+.
Since the series won’t be released for another two years, it’s been rumored that Kingpin and Daredevil will appear in other Marvel projects before then. We know for example that Matt Murdock will make an appearance in She-Hulk which will be released on August 17th.
