Motorola Edge 30 Fusion spotted at FCC

Motorola is working on a new device. the Moto Edge 30 Fusion could debut very soon.

A subsidiary of Lenovo since 2014, Motorola is a key player in the smartphone market, although it is more discreet compared to behemoths such as Samsung and Xiaomi. Last year, the brand released the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. Now, it seems that this model is about to have a successor. A mysterious device bearing the model number XT2243-1 was recently spotted in the databases of the UAE Federal Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (TDRA). In the process, the product was also seen at the FCC. In all likelihood, this is the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion.

But what does this future smartphone from the Moto Edge range have in store for us?

A launch in a few weeks?

According to the FCC document, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion will support the 5G connectivity. It will be a smartphone dual-SIM also adopting NFC, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth technologies. We also know thanks to this same source that the manufacturer has planned a 4400mAh battery and a 68.2 watt charger. You should know that the terminal has already passed through the WiFi Alliance and the Chinese certification body 3C.

These passages with different certification bodies obviously suggest an imminent launch. According to estimates, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion could debut as early as next August. Besides, he should be marketed in the Old Continent at around 670 € and could only launch in one color option, namely, black.

A Dimensity 900U processor?

Besides these details, we know that this future product of the subsidiary of Lenovo should embark a 6.55-inch AMOLED display accusing a refresh rate of at least 90 Hz. For the processor, Motorola would have opted for the Dimension 900U chip. Unfortunately, for now, we don’t have enough details about this chipset yet. Remember, however, that the classic Dimensity 900 sports two ARM Cortex-A78 cores displaying a maximum clock frequency of 2.4 GHz as well as six Arm Cortex-A55 cores clocked up to 2 GHz.

The RAM capacity could be 8 GB, against 128 GB for that of the internal storage. In addition, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion would ship a 108MP main sensor.
